Caitlin Clark Kobe 5 and Kobe 6 Protro resale prices: above almost every other colorway
Her four Kobe colorways sold for 13% to 32% more than the other Kobe 5 and Kobe 6 Protros on the same marketplace over the last 90 days. The restocks are the catch: the 'Indiana Fever' lost a third of its price in the four weeks after the January 2026 restock and never got it back.

Caitlin Clark has four Kobe Protro colorways with her name on them (Protro is Nike's name for a re-engineered retro of a Kobe Bryant shoe), and her own signature shoe, the Nike Caitlin 1, started landing in the first week of October. We have recorded 29,661 resale sales of the four Kobes since the first one launched in June 2025. That is enough to answer the question people ask: are her shoes worth more than a regular Kobe, or is that the hype talking?
They are worth more, on the same marketplace and against the same model. Over the last 90 days the typical pair of her Kobe 5 Protros sold for $303 on GOAT against $229 for every other men's Kobe 5 Protro there, 1.32 times as much. On StockX the gap is smaller, 1.13 times. Her Kobe 6 'Light Armory Blue' sold at 1.24 times the other Kobe 6 Protros on GOAT and 1.20 times on StockX. With thousands of sales on each side, gaps this size cannot be put down to luck: a statistical test puts the chance of seeing them in identical markets below one in a billion for all four.

The premium is real, but it is not the biggest in the Kobe line
The clean way to judge a colorway is against other colorways of the same shoe, sold on the same marketplace in the same window, because the Kobe 5 and the Kobe 6 are different products with different prices. Here is where her pairs land among every men's Kobe 5 and Kobe 6 Protro listing with 300 or more sales between July 12 and October 9, 2026.
| Colorway | Marketplace | Sales | Median | Half of pairs sold between |

| Kobe 5 Protro 'Lower Merion Aces Away' | StockX | 783 | $277 | $220 and $304 |
| Caitlin Clark Kobe 5 Protro 'Rookie of the Year' | GOAT | 455 | $265 | $253 and $275 |
| Kobe 6 Protro 'ASG Hollywood 3D' | StockX | 1,212 | $245 | $214 and $261 |
| Kobe 5 Protro 'Year of the Mamba Eggplant' | StockX | 516 | $224 | $192 and $240 |
| Kobe 5 Protro 'Dodgers' | GOAT | 2,790 | $218 | $206 and $232 |
The 'Indiana Fever' is the highest-priced Kobe 5 Protro on StockX and second on GOAT, behind only the Jalen Brunson 'NY vs. NY' at $521. The 'Light Armory Blue' is the highest-priced Kobe 6 Protro on GOAT and second on StockX, a few dollars under the 'Reverse Grinch'. The 'Coconut Milk Spruce' is third of five on GOAT, and the 'Rookie of the Year', at $265, sits below the 'X-Ray' and the 'Lower Merion' and above only the 'Eggplant' and the 'Dodgers'.
So the honest version is: three of her four colorways sit at or near the top of their model, one sits in the lower half, and none of them is the most expensive Kobe of the year. The Brunson pair is.
The restocks are where the money went
Her first colorway tells the whole story. The 'Indiana Fever' launched in the week of June 23, 2025 and sold for a median of $345 over its first four weeks. It then climbed for six months, to $446 in the week of December 8, 2025. In the week of January 5, 2026 a restock put 1,148 pairs through the two marketplaces in seven days, about ten times the pace of the weeks before it. The typical pair sold for $441 in the four weeks before that restock. In the four weeks after it, $287. That is a drop of 35%, and the plausible range given the sample is 34% to 36%. Nine months later it still sells for $316, about $125 below its December peak.
The 'Light Armory Blue' followed the same arc on a smaller scale: $349 in its 2,126-sale launch week of November 10, 2025, a peak of $464 in May 2026, then a restock in the week of August 31 that took the four-week median from $420 to $377, a 10% drop (9% to 12%). The 'Coconut Milk Spruce' restocked in the week of August 24, 2026 and slipped 8% (7% to 10%), from $320 to $293. The 'Rookie of the Year' has had no restock week and has barely moved: $276.50 in its launch week, $265 over the last 90 days.
This is the pattern a buyer should keep in mind with any of her shoes: the price between the launch and the next restock is the high one. Whether Nike restocks again is not something our sales data can tell you.
Her buyers wear the same sizes as every other Kobe buyer
A reasonable guess is that a women's basketball star's shoes sell in smaller sizes. On GOAT, which records the size on every sale, the median size of her four colorways over the last 90 days was 10.5, the same as the median for the other Kobe 5 and 6 Protros. Pairs under a men's 8 (a women's 9.5) were 9.6% of her sales (2,961 pairs; 95% interval 8.6% to 10.7%) against 7.5% of the other colorways' sales (7,088 pairs; 6.9% to 8.2%). The difference is real (two-proportion test, p = 0.0007) but small, and it is well inside the spread between ordinary Kobe colorways: the 'Dodgers' Kobe 5 sold 2.8% of its pairs under an 8, the 'X-Ray' 19.9%. Her four range from 6.9% ('Light Armory Blue') to 12.1% ('Indiana Fever').
The buyers of a Caitlin Clark Kobe, in other words, look like Kobe buyers.
The Caitlin 1 has sold 28 pairs so far
Her signature shoe reached the resale market in the first week of October: 16 preschool pairs of the 'Caitlin Blue' at a median of $162.50 and 8 grade-school pairs at $166, plus four women's-sizing sales of three colorways. That is far too few to say anything about where it will settle. We will come back to it once there are a few hundred sales.
How we measured this
Sales recorded on GOAT and StockX for men's Kobe 5 Protro and Kobe 6 Protro listings (grade-school, preschool, toddler and women's listings excluded), July 12 to October 9, 2026, sale prices $20 to $30,000. Medians and quartiles are per listing. The same-model comparison pools every sale of her colorways against every sale of the other colorways of the same model on the same marketplace; the ratio of medians carries a 95% percentile bootstrap interval (2,000 resamples) and a Mann-Whitney test, with Benjamini-Hochberg correction across the four tests (all q < 0.001). Weekly series pool both marketplaces per style code (IM3207-400, IO3672-400, IZ1852-100, IV2712-001) and show weeks with 20 or more sales. A restock week is the biggest week at least eight weeks after launch with 100+ sales and at least three times the median of the prior eight weeks; the before/after change compares the four weeks either side with the same bootstrap and test. Size shares use Wilson intervals and a two-proportion z-test. These are past sales, not a forecast, and nothing here is advice to buy or sell.
