Frequently Asked Questions
How is my closet's value worked out?
Each pair is valued at the median price that shoe sold for on GOAT or StockX in the last 90 days. If you pick a size and that size has at least 3 sales, the pair uses that size's median; otherwise it uses the median across all sizes. The closet value is the sum of those medians, before selling fees. It is a record of past sales, not a forecast.
What about pairs I have worn?
Mark a pair as worn and it still counts at the same median. StockX sells new pairs only and GOAT also sells used ones, and we cannot tell them apart, so our medians are mostly new and like-new pairs. A worn pair may sell for less. We do not estimate a used discount.
Can I share my closet?
Yes. Copy the share link, which holds the pairs and sizes in the address, or download the share card as an image. Nothing is stored on our servers; your closet is saved in your own browser.
