About
SneakerPulse is a one-person data product by Alexander Isom.
I started it to answer a simple question with real numbers: what do sneakers actually sell for? It now tracks 24.4M+ completed resale sales on GOAT and StockX, updates itself every day, and turns that data into prices, tools and findings anyone can check.

What I do
- Decide what to build and why. I read Search Console and GA4 to see what visitors are asking, then choose the pages, tools and analyses that answer it.
- Own the data. A daily pipeline loads marketplace sales into Postgres, checks that each feed actually delivered, and rebuilds every page from the result.
- Set the analytical bar. Trends compare each shoe with itself, so a change in product mix cannot fake one; time-series tests use effective sample sizes; findings that rest on many tests are corrected for false discoveries; every number states its window and sample size. Results that do not hold up are reported as null.
- Run it like a product. Design, copy, SEO, social posts and the weekly Call It game are one loop: ship, measure, keep what works.
How the work gets done
I build SneakerPulse with Claude Code, an AI coding agent that writes much of the code and runs scheduled checks on the data and the live site. I direct it: what to build, which questions to ask of the data, the standards results must meet, and what goes live. The how it is built page covers the architecture: Python on GitHub Actions, Neon Postgres, a Cloudflare Workers API and static pages on Cloudflare Pages.
