What sneakers go with my outfit?

Snap or upload a photo of your fit. We read its colours, you pick the vibe, and you get real sneakers that go with it, with what each pair actually resells for on GOAT and StockX.

Your photo never leaves your device. It is read right here in your browser and is not uploaded, stored or sent anywhere, not even to us. To find the outfit, a free model downloads once (about 20 MB) and runs on your device.

How it picks

Your photo is shrunk to about 320 pixels in your browser. A clothing-segmentation model (MediaPipe's multiclass selfie segmenter, Apache 2.0, downloaded once and run on your device) marks which pixels are clothes, so the wall, pavement, skin and hair are ignored. The clothes pixels are grouped into five colours (k-means), each named from a fixed list: black, white, cream, grey, navy, denim, olive, brown, tan, blue, red, pink, purple, green, yellow, orange; their height on the body says top or pants. If the model cannot find the outfit, we fall back to the middle of the photo and ask you to tap your top and pants. Then the rules:

  • Neutral fitAll black, white, cream, grey, navy, denim, olive, brown or tan: one or two clean neutral pairs plus up to three that add a single pop of colour that suits your main colour (red, blue or green with black; red, yellow or green with navy).
  • AccentA little colour: shoes that echo it (a neutral base with details in that colour), a clean pair, and a tonal pair in your main colour.
  • Bold fitLots of colour, or two strong colours: neutral shoes that pick up one secondary colour instead of adding a new one.
  • No clashesRed with green, purple with yellow and blue with orange are marked down hard, unless you picked Streetwear, where a clash can be the point.
  • VibeStreetwear favours retro, chunky and loud pairs; Smart-casual clean and retro low-tops (no running, hoops or chunky shoes); Gym running and training shoes; Night out going-out and clean pairs; Everyday everyday shoes.
  • Real and findableEvery shoe sold on GOAT or StockX in the last 90 days (1,835 in the pool, no slides or cleats); shoes with more sales rank higher because they are easier to buy in your size; no more than two picks from one model and three from one brand.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sneakers go with black jeans?

Almost any, which is why black jeans are the easiest base. Clean white low-tops give the sharpest contrast; the most-bought white pairs in our data right now are ASICS Gel-1130 White Pure Silver (typically $107 resale) and Nike Air Force 1 Low '07 White (typically $81 resale). An all-black pair such as the ASICS Gel-1130 Black Pure Silver (typically $99 resale) makes one long tonal line for a night out. Because the jeans are neutral you can also add one pop of colour, for example the Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Toro Bravo' 2026 (typically $171 resale).

What shoes go with a navy suit or a navy outfit?

Navy is a neutral, so keep the shoes calm: white or cream (the classic), grey, or brown and tan suede. With a suit, stick to plain white or black leather low-tops. A white shoe with navy or blue details ties the look together: Jordan 4 Retro Military Blue (2024) (typically $202 resale) and New Balance 530 White Silver Navy (typically $80 resale). For a warmer take, a tan pair like the Jordan 4 Retro Cave Stone (typically $155 resale). Avoid a bright orange shoe with a bright blue outfit unless you want the clash.

What color sneakers go with everything?

White, then black, then grey. Of the 300 most-bought sneakers on GOAT and StockX in the last 90 days, 33% are mainly white, 34% mainly black and 9% mainly grey, because they sit with any outfit colour. Brown and tan are the next-safest with earth tones, navy and denim.

Is my photo uploaded or stored anywhere?

No. The photo is read by your own browser: it is shrunk to about 320 pixels, a clothing-segmentation model finds the outfit and its colours are counted on your device. The model (about 20 MB, from Google's MediaPipe) is downloaded to your browser once; your photo is never sent to SneakerPulse, Google or anyone else, and the share image leaves your photo out unless you switch it on. Close the page and it is gone.

How accurate is the colour reading?

Good in daylight with the whole outfit in frame; the segmentation model ignores the background, skin and hair. Rougher in warm indoor light, with heavy patterns or when the outfit is tiny or cut off. Every colour it finds is editable: tap a swatch to change or remove it, use "Tap to pick" to tap your top and pants directly, or skip the photo and pick colours yourself.

Are these retail prices?

No. Each price is what pairs actually resold for: the median completed sale on GOAT and StockX in the last 90 days across all sizes, with the range the middle half of sales fell in. 1,835 shoes are in the pool.

Prices are resale medians across all sizes, updated daily; your size may run higher or lower. Colour tags come from each shoe's name and colorway, so the odd one lands in the wrong bucket. Want to choose by use and brand instead? Try the Shoe Finder.
