Sneaker resale weekly movers: biggest median price changes, Sep 7-13, 2026

Which sneakers saw the largest week-over-week change in median resale price on GOAT and StockX between Aug 31-Sep 6 and Sep 7-13, 2026, among 452 products with 30+ sales in each week.

Most sneakers barely moved in the second week of September. Across 452 footwear products with at least 30 recorded resale sales in both weeks, the typical (median) product changed its median sale price by -0.5%, and 316 of the 452 (70%) stayed within ±5%. The interesting part is the tails: a handful of pairs moved 12% to 30% in a single week.

This post compares the week of September 7-13, 2026 with the week before (August 31 - September 6), using completed resale transactions from GOAT and StockX. The two weeks are the most recent full weeks where both platforms are completely recorded in our database. StockX records after September 17 are still filling in, so they are left out.

Jordan 4s led the gainers

Three of the eight biggest gainers are Air Jordan 4s. The women's 'Forget Me Not' rose from a $174 median to $206 (+18.4%), the 'Lakers' colorway went from $163 to $185 (+13.5%) on the largest sample in the gainer list (225 and 150 sales), and the grade-school 'Rare Air' added 12.3% ($122 to $137). The full model picture, including size and state breakdowns, is on the Air Jordan 4 resale page.

The Air Jordan 11 'Bred' (2019) also climbed 13.9%, from $298 to $340. One week is far too short to call that a trend. The Air Jordan 11 page shows the longer monthly history. At the premium end, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low 'Olive' (women's) moved from $778 to $905 on 45 and 32 sales.

Declines were sharper than gains

The decliners moved further than the gainers. The NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 'Certified Lover Boy' fell the most, from a $241 median to $169 (-29.9%) on a similar number of sales (41 then 42), so it is not a thin-week artifact of volume collapsing. The Air Force 1 page tracks the wider model.

The YZY YS-01 'Black' is the most reliable number in the table: roughly 1,500 StockX sales in each week, with the median dropping from $67 to $50 (-25.4%). A move that large on that much volume is a real repricing, not noise.

Nike's Air Max Plus 'Triple Black' (-18.8%, $191 to $155) and Air Zoom Vomero 5 'Platinum Tint' (-15.4%, $123 to $104) were the two general-release Nike models on the losing side. Nike-wide numbers are on the Nike brand page.

How to read these numbers

  • Medians, not averages. A single $2,000 deadstock sale can drag an average around; the median is the price in the middle of the week's sales and is far more stable.
  • Mix still matters. A product's median can move because a different spread of sizes sold that week. Grade-school (GS) and women's sizes are listed as their own products, but within one product, a week heavy in rare sizes will read higher.
  • 30 sales is the floor, not a comfortable sample. Several movers sit between 30 and 50 sales per week. Treat those moves as "worth watching", not settled. The Lakers 4, YS-01 and Air Max Plus figures rest on 65+ sales per week.
  • This is recorded resale activity, not the whole market. It covers sales that GOAT and StockX report and that we have ingested, so it is not total market size or retail demand. Nothing here is a price forecast.

Method

We merged each product's GOAT and StockX listings by normalized style code (SKU), kept footwear only (apparel such as sweatpants and jerseys was excluded), and required at least 30 recorded sales in each of the two weeks. For each week we took the median sale price, then ranked products by percentage change. Weeks run Monday to Sunday in UTC.
