StockX's fee-free days: 78% more sales, and the same shoes about 5% cheaper
An event study of 15 StockX "100% off seller fees" promotions (Dec 2024 - Sep 2026), dated from StockX's own promo emails. StockX sales rose 75% on average in the promo window (95% CI +63% to +89%, up in 15 of 15) while GOAT was flat; same-shoe prices fell 4.5% (15 of 15).

StockX named Fear of God Essentials hoodies its most counterfeited apparel two years running. In StockX sales, 53% of 2025 Essentials sales went for under half of retail (vs about 0% for Supreme or Stussy), and one hoodie sold 22,561 times in July-August 2025 at a $42 median against $120 retail.
